ROMAN CATHOLIC TEACHING        (Cited in the Bible and /or Tradition) ROMAN CATHOLIC TEACHING    (As THE BIBLE TEACHING Assert) PROTESTANTS (REFORMED)      (THE BIBLE TEACHING)

The Apostles and their successors were called "father" within early Christian communities (Before the Bible) (Cor. 4:15, 1Jn 2:12, Acts 7.2, 22:1) Call the Priest Father Call No Man Father (Matthew 23:9)

Jesus passed on to the Apostles to forgive sins "If you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven them…." (Mt 16:18-19, Jn 20:22-23) and to priest in persona Christi.  They Confess Their Sins To A Priest Jesus Is The Only One To Forgive Sins (1 John 1:9)

Saints are alive and in heaven who are asked for inter-cessions.  "God is not the God of the dead but of the living.  All are alive for him." (Lk 20:38)<![if !supportAnnotations]> [1]<![endif]> Prayers To Dead Saints God Calls This Abomination (Deuteronomy 18:10-11)

The Catholic Church does not teach that Mary is a Co- Mediator of Jesus.  (CCC970).  Mary is a saint and alive in heaven.  Anyone who prays for another person is a mediator. They Have Made Mary A Co-Mediator Jesus Is The Only Mediator Between Man And God (1 Timothy 2:5)

Prayers to Mary and other saints are asking for their intercessions.  Prayers To Mary And Other Saints Only Pray To Father In Jesus Name (John 14:13)

In OT the Ark of the Covenant has 2 statues of angels standing on guard.  (Ex 25:10-22) Making Idols Don't Make Any Idols (Deuteronomy 5:7)

The Catholic Church: In existence for 2000 years. God, by his will, founded the Church when Jesus, the Son of God, before his death in 33 AD, said to Peter: I for my part declare to you, you are 'Rock,' and on this rock I will build my church, and the jaws of death shall not prevail against it.  I will entrust to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.  Whatever you declare bound on earth shall be bound in heaven; whatever you declare loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Mt 16:18-19).  The Mystical Body of Christ (1Cor 12:27-28) the Catholic Church. The Protestant (Reformed) (The Bible Teaching) Church: Founded by men in 1517AD: Martin Luther, etc., in existence for 500 years.  Founders were once members of the Mystical Body of Christ (1Cor 12:27; Rom 12:5) but leaving the Mystical Body like the Prodigal (Lk 15:11-23) and their offsprings as separated brethren of the Lord. They are still part of the Mystical Body, but separate, on their own journey to lead them back or get lost their way. "Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain...." (Ps 127:1).

Immaculate Conception: Mary chosen by God to be the bearer of his Son upon his Incarnation and he declared through the Archangel Gabriel: "Blessed are you among women… (Lk 1:26-37).  Mary made possible: "In the beginning was the Word: the Word was in God's presence and the Word was God... The Word became flesh: ...." (John 1:1-3, 14). "… but for God all things are possible." (Mt 19:26). Mary is just like any other human being born with the Original Sin.  "All men have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God." (Rm 3: 23).  Would this Mary make possible "The Word became flesh: ...." John 1:1-3, 14)?  How could this Mary be the bearer of Jesus God the Son as sin separates her from God.  Also, this denies the word of God to Archangel Gabriel in Lk 1:26-37.

The Catholic Mass, the most important and sacred act of worship of the Catholic Church - Liturgy of the Word and Liturgy of the Eucharist - where the bread and wine are consecrated by an ordained priest and become the body and blood of Christ.  Celebrated around the world every moment, the Real Presence Christ is in every Catholic Mass bringing heaven on earth to the Mystical Body of Christ. Worship Service

The Eucharist - Body of Christ: "Take this and eat it… this is my body." (Mt 26:26; Mk 14:22-25; Lk 22:18ff; 1Cor 11, 23ff).  "This is the bread that comes down from heaven for a man to eat and never die. I myself am the living bread come down from heaven.  If anyone eats this bread he shall live forever;" (Jn 6:50-51).  "...give us this day our daily bread..." (Lord's prayer).  Without  Mary, there is no Word made Flesh and no Eucharist.  Without the Eucharist there is no Church. Any ordinary bread, only as symbol for the body of Christ.  (not in the Bible)

The Blood of Christ: "All of you must drink from it, … for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, to be poured out in behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins." (Mt 26:27-28; Jn 6: 53-58). Grape juice, not even wine, only as symbol for the blood of Christ.  (not in the Bible).

The Crucifix - the Corpus and the Cross: honors the supreme sacrifice showing the tortured body to display the immense love of Jesus Christ has for all of humanity and to remind us of the hope of the Resurrection won by that victory of his Passion.  He took upon himself the death he found in us, he has most faithfully promised to give us life in him, such as we cannot have of ourselves.  (Aleteia) An empty Cross as a symbol of Jesus Christ's Resurrection: not so, as Christ's Resurrection was not from the  cross. He died on the cross and his body was taken down and laid in the tomb in a cave. (Jn 19:28-30; 38-42) The nail marks through his hands and feet on the cross are not shown.  The cross could not be the one that Jesus was crucified. He resurrected from the tomb. (Jn 20: 1-10)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and find life burdebsome, and I will refresh you.  Take my yoke upon your shoulders and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light." (Mt (11:28-30). The protests, against the issues practised by the Catholic Church for 2000 years, have no redeeming values on what God the Father has done to bring back the unity between his created beings with his beloved Son Jesus Christ.
