Query: Whoever believes in God’s Son has eternal life. He is all you need. You don’t need to wait for eternal life, because it begins the moment you believe. You don’t need to work for it, because it is already yours. You don’t need to worry about it, because you have been given eternal life by God himself—and it is guaranteed. 1 John 5:12
Answer: It seems that all the sentences in the Query speak of the Son of God.
Are all these, what were written, found in the New Testament Bible?
Who received these revelations? Who is the person that received them? Which Protestant church does the person belong? When were the revelations received?
I would like to think that if these revelations were from God the Son, this would have gone to the Catholic Tradition, i.e., to the Roman Catholic Church—the Mystical Body of Christ – from the Lord Jesus Christ – the Head of the Mystical Body.
I could not say for myself that all I need is God the Son—Jesus Christ. I need God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit—One God—the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity is inseparable.
To have eternal life is to believe in God, i.e., the omnipotent God the creator of all things in heaven and on earth. He is with God the Son—Jesus, who said, “I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
God the Son points to the God the Father. The Son is the Way to the Father.
The Nicene Creed states that we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life. We believe that he proceeds from the Father and the Son. We believe that the Holy Spirit is to be worshiped and glorified together with God the Father and God the Son—Jesus Christ.
“In AD 2017 the world marked the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. A Catholic monk Martin Luther on AD 1517 October 31st posted his 95 theses to protest against the Catholic Church.”
The Catholic Tradition have written the New Testament Bible within AD 50 – AD 100; then NT Bible published sometime in AD 1582.
The New Testament Bible was written for the Catholic Tradition adherents and for the members of the Mystical Body of Christ—the Catholic Church—for over 2023 years now.
Thereafter, members of the Catholic Church who resigned from the Church, signified rejection of the Founder—Jesus Christ—God the Son, and now those who have resigned and their descendants, do not possess God the Son and does not have life (1 John 5:12b). God the Son remains solely with the Mystical Body—the Catholic Church. “Whoever possesses the Son has life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:12). Whoever resigned or descended from the Catholic Church signified rejection of the Founder—Jesus Christ—God the Son, and does not possess God the Son, as well as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
The contention is that the separated (so-called-Christian) churches that sprung up from the Protestant Reformed resulted in over 43,000 churches by AD 2012 and increasing annually by 125 various denominations and sects. These Protestant churches could not be led by Jesus Christ—God the Son. It seems that they are in the category of “whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life…” (1 John 5:12b). What about God the Father and God the Holy Spirit…? The Protestant churches do not have them either. One Protestant denomination say: “You don’t need to work for it, because it is already yours. You don’t need to worry about it, because you have been given eternal life by God himself—and it is guaranteed.” It seems that this is so for all the Protestant Reformed churches. Seem like the work of the Devil—the Evil One.
That leaves the Catholic Church only, to work for their eternal life through Jesus Christ—God the Son – who came down to earth by the will of God the Father – through Mary Mother of God – to save humanity from perdition by redeeming back to eternal life to be in heaven with the holy saints and the holy angels together with the Holy Trinity. Jesus Christ—God the Son is the Founder and Head of the Mystical Body of Christ—the Catholic Church.
Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church live inseparably on earth. Jesus Christ the Head and the Catholic Church as his Mystical Body.
The Catholic Church members, who have passed on from Earth and still have sins to be cleansed, goes to Purgatory – a temporary detour until thoroughly purged out of sin – and finally, enter Heaven.
God the Father prepared Mary – without sin – Immaculate Conception – without the Original Sin – to be the carrier of God’s Son in her womb. Mary was already betrothed to Joseph when she conceived God’s Son through the act of God the Holy Spirit. These are all part of God’s plan. ‘Joseph became the protector and defender of Mary Our Blessed Mother and guardian of her Son-Our Lord on his younger days on earth. He is Protector of the Holy Church.’ ‘Joseph is so powerful because of his special role as foster-father of the Child Jesus. He has merited singular privileges in heaven unmatched by any saint excepting the Blessed Virgin Mary.’
God declared, through the Archangel Gabriel: “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb” at the Annunciation of the Incarnation of his Son to earth.
And through the years after the Crucifixion-Death and Resurrection of Jesus—God the Son, the Mystical Body is led to pray the Rosary to remind and recall the life of Jesus here on earth. It is through this mystery that praying the Rosary may lead the Catholic Tradition adherents into spiritual insights in the life of Jesus—God the Son on earth.
Mary is the instrument in having God the Son for 33 years here on earth when she said in response to God’s leading, through the Archangel Gabriel (Luke 1:30-38): 38 “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” And Mary becomes the Mother of God to Jesus—God the Son! The Catholic Church just celebrated the Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help: ‘Pray for us, Oh Holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ!’
